Punk Halloween Masks
Peoples representation of a punk is a person deliberately trying to outrage others with their outrageous clothing, wild and wacky hairstyles, body art tattoos and way out jewellery.
The trademark punk wears ripped clothing sometimes held together by safety pins or black tape and their normal everyday clothes get customized by markers or paint. Some punks wear black bin liners as dresses or skirts with safety pins and razor blades as jewelry. Also popular have been leather, rubber or PVC which the public associates with Bondage and S&M.
Punk fashion was very popular in the 1980s with drainpipe jeans, tartan trousers and leather jackets decorated with band logos, metal studs and spikes.
The traditional punks styled their hair into Mohicans or Mohawks as they are commonly known and dye them into vibrant colours. They are also known for their use of black Gothic make up which is where the traditional punk masks originate from.
