Devil Halloween masks
The Devil is thought to be an evil supernatural force and is classed as the enemy of god. Other religions believe that the Devil tempts humans to commit evil acts. People are led to believe through Christianity that the Devil fights with God for the souls of humans and leads them away from God and into Hell.
The Devil is also known as Satan or Lucifer but all these three represent evil which is why the Devil plays a large part in Halloween Fancy dress.
Peoples representations of the Devil are a red human with two horns either side of the head and a red tail. The red maybe depicts the colour of fire which is also associated with the Devil and Hell, also known as the Devils kingdom.
The red Devil mask is widely used at Halloween and comes in various designs, although all are symbolic with the red devil horns attached.
